This alpine region is paradise found. The western most portion of the ranch has the upper reaches of a spectacular canyon which ascends up the southern and western slope of Silver Mountain into a dense alpine region. It is extremely private due to the fact that the only way to access this area is through the ranch. High mountain peaks protect the pristine mountain meadows surrounded by stands of ponderosa pine, aspen and silver spruce. Magnificent rock spires and dikes accent the hillsides covered in waste high grasses and a rainbow of wildflowers. This area is home to herds of elk, big horn sheep, black bear, hawks and eagles. On the floor of the canyon is Abetya Creek which flows into Citadel Lake, eventually reaching the main ranch reservoir. The creek, lake and reservoir are rich in rainbow and cutthroat trout. The adjacent BLM leased property adds to the immense opportunities for recreation and exploration.
